A port near broadside view, taken from onlu just abaft the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Atholl (1928) at anchor off Bridgetown, Barbados. Her port anchor is deployed, she is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm of her foremast and lifeboats 14 and 16 are missing from their falls. An accommodation ladder is rigged from the aft shell doors and two boats are alongside the foot of the ladder. The stern of the ship is out of the picture.
