A port broadside view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Richmond (1928) at anchor in an unknown location. She is dressed overall, her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged at the aft shell door. Numbers 16 and 18 lifeboats have been launched and one of them is near to the foot of the accommodation ladder. Two local passenger tenders are secured alongside the ship forward and amidships.
