A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Richmond (1928) anchored in Tangier Bay, Morocco. Her starboard anchor is deployed and lifeboat number 16 has been launched. An accommodation ladder is rigged from her aft shell door. A local passenger tender is heading away from the ship towards the shore. The horizon is not quite level.
