A starboard side view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Richmond (1928) alongside a quay in Willemstad harbour, Curacao

A starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Richmond (1928) alongside a quay in Willemstad harbour at Curacao. The photographer is in an elevated position on shore looking across the harbour. The ship is dressed overall, her starboard anchor is deployed and she has a brow from the quay to her shell doors aft. A game appears to be in progress on a piece of level ground in the foreground. A large number of oil tanks are on the far side of the harbour and one of them has the letters CPM on it.
