The Type 81 frigate Gurkha (1960) in dry dock at Southampton. She was docked between 13 and 26 October 1962 for final hull cleaning and painting before her steaming trials. The photographer is at the bottom of the dock looking up and to port at the A/S type 162 fittings in the keel and the starboard side of the hull between 13 and 15 stations.
