The photographer is at 45 station on 02 deck looking aft, to starboard and up at the radar mast and the foremast. At the top of the radar mast is the ANS cheese aerial for the type 293Q short range air search target indication radar and projecting to the rear at lower level is the MF/DF coil. The lower platform on the foremast holds the steaming lights and the ATZ cheese aerial for the type 978 high definition surface search radar.
