The photographer is at 43 station on the port side of 02 deck looking aft at the MRS 3 gun director, the radar mast and the foremast. The type 903 radar dish on the MRS 3 director is covered. At the top of the radar mast is the ANS cheese aerial for the type 293Q short range air search target indication radar and projecting to the rear at lower level is the MF/DF coil. The lower platform on the foremast holds the ATZ cheese aerial for the type 978 high definition surface search radar. At the top of the foremast is the AKE1 mattress aerial for the type 965 long range air search radar.
