The photographer is in the auxiliary machinery compartment between 41 and 45 stations on 4 deck looking forward from 44½ station on the starboard side showing, on the right, a diesel air compressor, an heat exchanger, an ice making tank and a workbench equipped with a Fortis F4 vice and with cupboards and drawers under. At the forward end of the compartment is the switchboard with the control section on the left and the feeder section on the right. The main diesel generator is on the left.
