The photographer is in the transmitter room between 56 and 58¾ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft from 56½ station on the port side of the room. The type 693 cabinet is on the left with a large coil of hose fixed to the side of it. Type 618M (left) and type 618 (right) units are on the desk against the aft bulkhead and two power units are under it. An automatic emergency lantern is on the extreme right. Three control circuit exchange units on the right have a CAY/CAZ receiver/transmitter next to them.
