The photographer is in the executive officer's cabin between 49½ and 51 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to starboard and slightly aft showing a bed-settee under a scuttle. Cupboards are at high level against the ship's side and another cupboard is at the end of the settee. A wardrobe and chest of drawers are against the forward bulkhead. A desk with a document tray rack and a combined bookshelf and trunk rack above are against the aft bulkhead.
