Beyond these are smoke lockers, a ventilation fan motor, a watertight hatch leading down to 2 deck, an automatic emergency lantern, the watertight door to the quarterdeck and a stretcher cabinet A hinged seat with wire reels above it is on the right next to the door into the hangar. Wire strops with bottle screws, a first aid cabinet, a transformer, an electric fire, a fire extinguisher, starter panels and a loudspeaker are against the forward bulkhead.
