The photographer is in the hangar between 71½ and 76 stations on1 deck looking to starboard and forward from the port side showing three of the four lift machinery gearboxes and chains. Against the forward bulkhead is the avcat fuelling and defuelling system with the diesel filter, starter panel and cable. To port of the door are a fire extinguisher, a loudspeaker and an exhaust fan and to starboard of the door is another fire extinguisher. In the forward starboard corner is a workbench with drawers and cupboards under and a vice on top and with three fire extinguishers alongside. A roller blind is on the right and on the extreme right is the torpedo stowage space.
