The photographer is looking aft from the bow showing the 4.5 inch gun on the forecastle, the enclosed bridge, the MRS.3 director and the foremast which is surmounted by the Type 965 AKE 1 radar aerial. Berthed inboard of the Eskimo (1961) is the Trinity House lighthouse and buoy tender Winston Churchill (1963) fitting out. She was launched in October 1962 and completed in May 1963.
