The photographer is in the auxiliary machinery compartment between 41 and 45 stations on 4 deck looking forward and slightly to port from the starboard side at 44½ station showing the diesel generator in the centre of the compartment. The switchboard is against the forward bulkhead with the feeder section on the right and the control section on the left.
