The Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in dry dock in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. She was in dry dock from 4 October to 25 October 1973. The photographer is on the bottom of the dock looking up from under the hull showing the main circulating inlet on the port side. Ford No.7 has been chalked on the hull and a white divers search line has been painted fore and aft on the hull. A vertical format negative.
