The AKE1 aerial for the type 965 radar is at the top of her foremast and she has type 293Q radar on a separate lattice mast. Her MRS.3 director is trained to starboard. She has the number 1 on her forefunnel indicating her attachment to the First Frigate Squadron. The ship is berthed port side to the quay and a number of motor cars are parked on the quay, including Ford Cortinas, Ford Corsairs, a Sunbeam Rapier, a Triumph Dolomite and a Triumph hardtop sports car.
