The photographer is in the chart room between 43½ and 44½ stations on the port side of 01 deck looking aft and to starboard showing the open door on the left with an automatic emergency lantern next to it. Against the aft bulkhead are a Decca receiver unit over another Decca unit. Under the deckhead is a unit labelled "Navigational aids QYA(2) & QM 12 CTS Charthouse (O.I.E.)" with a filter unit next to it. A vertical format negative.
