The photographer is in the lobby between 43½ and 45½ stations on the centreline of 01 deck looking forward from 44¾ station showing the sliding door to Cabin No. 1 on the right and two combination locked cupboards and the sliding door to the chartroom on the left. Two dimmer switch units and an automatic emergency lantern are on the bulkhead above the closed hatch leading down to 1 deck. The small flight of steps lead up to the enclosed bridge. A vertical format negative.
