The photographer is just to port of the centreline of 01 deck at 63½ station looking aft and to starboard showing the simple tachometric director Mk. 2 in its enclosure between 64½ and 66½ stations on the centreline. Aft of it is the replenishment at sea tripod, the Limbo mortar and the helicopter landing deck. Berthed alongside the east wall of the basin is the Royal Fleet Auxiliary store carrier Bacchus (1962), pendant A404.
