The photographer is on the port side of 01 deck at 65 station looking to starboard and aft showing the simple tachometric director Mk. 2 in its enclosure between 64½ and 66½ stations on the centreline. Aft of it is the replenishment at sea tripod. Berthed alongside the east wall of the basin are stores lighters PAS 1004 and C42 and a steam-powered sheerlegs pontoon.
