The photographer is in the wardroom between 50 and 56 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking to port and aft from 54 station showing two easy chairs and a coffee table is the right foreground. A settee is against the aft bulkhead and the ship's side on either side of an electric fire. Drawers are under the settees. Christmas cards are on the mantelpiece above the fire and a glass fronted cupboard is against the ship's side on the right.
