The photographer is on the port side of 01 deck at 66 station looking aft and to starboard showing the Mark 10 Limbo mortar well between 68 and 72 stations on the centreline of 1 deck. Astern of the mortar well is the helicopter landing deck with the portable lift covers at its forward end. The ship is berthed port side to the south wall of the basin. The bow of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary store carrier Bacchus (1962) can be seen alongside the east wall of the basin.
