On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the passageway between 16 and 32 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and slightly to port from 26 station showing three jacks, a first aid cabinet and a stretcher cupboard against the port bulkhead. The watertight door at 32 station is open and beyond it is the door to No. 2 amplifier and S.R.E. (sound reproduction equipment) compartment. A vertical format negative.
