On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the electronics maintenance room between 34 and 38½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft showing a chest of drawers against the aft bulkhead. Above the chest are radio and radar job cards boxes, a board naming the 14 radio electrical mechanics, a key cabinet, a dimmer switch and a clock reading 10.24. Cupboards are at high level against the starboard bulkhead. Against the ship's side is a bench with drawers under and three Aish suppressors above the end of it. A vertical format negative.
