On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the provision issue room between 38½ and 41 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to port showing two desks against the forward bulkhead. Three drawers and a cupboard are under the desks. An adding machine, an Olivetti 82 typewriter, a telephone, rubber stamps, a ready reckoner and ledgers are on the desks. A shelf and two sets of pigeon holes are against the forward bulkhead. A shelf and a 1974 daily planning chart are against the ship's side. A vertical format negative.
