The photographer is in the main communication office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 44½ station showing two Mark IV combination safes labelled No. 3 and No. 4. The senior radio operator's bay has No. 4 control unit, No. 4 switch unit and a foot pedal under it. A multi-switch control and speaker unit is on the desk. Four telephones, a microphone, a junction box and a relay and resistance unit are above the desk. Against the starboard bulkhead are the combined radio stateboard and filter box No. 4. A vertical format negative.
