The photographer is in the main communication office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 43 station showing Bay 2, the typist and distribution supervisor, equipped with an Olivetti 82 typewriter and with a three drawer filing cabinet underneath the desk. Next to this bay is the desk of the ship to shore bay fitted with a telephone switchboard and a duplicating machine. Against the starboard bulkhead are two voice pipes, a telephone, a cupboard and a noticeboard with a christmas card pinned to it. A vertical format negative.
