The photographer is in the sickbay between 42½ and 44 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port showing the surgeon's desk, a bookcase and an automatic emergency lantern against the aft bulkhead. The operating table is in the foreground. Near the port bulkhead there are two swinging cots and a typewriter is on a sliding tray on the lower cot. A stethoscope is hanging from the upper cot. A refrigerator and a poisons cupboard are against the forward bulkhead.
