On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in No. 4 amplifier compartment between 44¼ and 45 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port and slightly forward showing a co-ordinate converter cabinet, a marker interlacing cabinet and power units against the forward bulkhead. A visual display unit is against the aft bulkhead. The door to the compartment is in the port bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
