On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in No. 4 amplifier compartment between 44¼ and 45 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a bench with frame servicing boxes below it against the ship's side. A co-ordinate converter cabinet, two starter panels and an axial flow fan and trunking are against the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
