On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the passageway between 45 and 52 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to port and aft from 47½ station showing a fire main and hose basket. The washing up cabinet has a tray shelf above it and a portable power generator and cable is stowed under the cabinet. The door to the officers' galley and a fire extinguisher are on the left.
