The photographer is in the crew's galley and preparing space between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to starboard from the servery at 48 station. A shelving unit with a Formica and plywood top is in the centre of the space. A roasting oven, steaming oven and boiling coppers are against the aft bulkhead. A deep fryer and and a shallow fryer are on the left. Against the ship's side is a preparation worktop with bins beneath and shelves above and an ice cream machine is at the end of the bench.
