The photographer is in the crew's galley and preparing space between 45 and 50 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward on the starboard side from 48 station. Against the ship's side is a preparation worktop and sink with bins beneath and shelves above. A set of scales and a potato peeling machine are on the end of the worktop. A stainless steel dresser with a condenser unit under it and the fryer control panels above is on the left. Next to it is a boiling plate unit. Against the forward bulkhead is a garbage disposal unit and paper sacks of vegetables are stacked on the deck.
