On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the officer's galley between 48 and 50 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to port showing the No. 3 Admiralty cooking range control panel against the ship's side. Against the forward bulkhead are a pot rack, a jhinged shelf and the food lift up to the wardroom pantry. Buckets, a mop, pots, pans and a bowl of potatoes are on the deck in the corner.
