On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the cross passage between 58½ and 59 stations on 2 deck looking to port showing the boiler uptakes bulkhead on the right. Against the aft bulkhead are a fire extinguisher, fuse panels, a junction box, an emergency connection box and a cable stowage bracket. The canteen counter, an automatic emergency lantern and a notice board advertising the "Village Shop" are against the port bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
