The photographer is in the passageway between 56 and 64 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft from 55 station showing a foam generator, drums of foam liquid and an air filtration unit against the boiler room uptake bulkhead on the right. A transformer is in the right foreground abaft the hatch leading down to the crew's mess on 3 deck. The open door of the scullery is on the left and a fire main, the door to the crew's mess, a fire extinguisher and the doors to the combined technical office and the engineer's and ordnance workshop are in the starboard bulkhead. The watertight door at 64 station is open. A vertical format negative.
