A port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Finnish barquentine Estonia (1921) under sail in the North Sea or the Baltic. She is on the port tack with the wind coming from off the port quarter. The photographer is on board the passing Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935). The Estonia was wrecked on the swedish island of Orskar on 5 October 1936.
