On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the passageway between 56 and 64 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward from 63½ station showing the doors to the engineer's and ordnance workshop, the combined technical office and the transmitter room on the starboard side. the doors to the gas turbine uptake space and the primary steering position are in the port bulkhead. A floor polisher is in the junior rate's dining hall at the forward end of the passageway. A vertical format negative.
