The photographer is in the engineer's and ordnance workshop between 61 ¼ and 63¾ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward showing the workbench fitted with three Record vices, types 112, 84 and 36, against the side of the ship. Welding rods are at the back of the bench and above them are stacks of large metal washers, pigeon hole racks and cupboards. Against the forward bulkhead are hose clips, a Wolf electric grinder, a loudspeaker and a notice board on which is a poster on fire extinguishers. On the left is the universal machine.
