The photographer is in the passageway between 73 and 77 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward from 75 station showing an open hatch leading down to 3 deck and an automatic emergency lantern in the right foreground. The door into the aft fan chamber is in the starboard bulkhead. Against the inboard bulkhead of the laundry are two fire extinguishers, four timber shores and some drying clothes. The watertight door at 73 station is open and an automatic emergency lantern is by the side of it. A vertical format negative.
