The photographer is in the passageway between 73 and 77 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward from 76 station showing the stairs up to 1 deck, an open hatch leading down to 3 deck and an automatic emergency lantern in the right foreground. The door into the aft fan chamber is in the starboard bulkhead. the door to the laundry is on the left and against the port bulkhead are two fire extinguishers and four timber shores. The watertight door at 73 station is open and an automatic emergency lantern is by the side of it. A vertical format negative.
