The photographer is in the P.O's mess between 73 and 77 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from the starboard side showing a bar in the corner with settee benches on either side of it. A table is in the right foreground. Against the aft bulkhead is a clock reading 10.46. Propped up above the settee bench are a visitor's book and a bar visitor's book. The roller shutter behind the bar is closed and Christmas cards are mounted against the starboard bulkhead.
