A settee bench is on the port side and a folding table is in the foreground. A curtained area, two greatcoat lockers, two mess lockers, a litter bin and the 8 Mess beer record board containing 27 names are facing the photographer. The starboard side of the mess is curtained off and a cable hanger is fitted to the gun support.
