The photographer is in the steering gear compartment between 85 and 95 stations on 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 93 station on the port side showing the helmsman's folding seat, an automatic emergency lantern, a telephone, a loudspeaker, an acoustic booth and a cable hanger. The telemotor handwheel and an azimuth repeater are fitted to the steering gear on the left.
