On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the naval store between 9 and 16 stations on 3 deck looking to port and aft from 10 station showing the stairs up to 2 deck on the left. Storage shelves are against the ship's side and amongst the items stored are drums of grease, chlorinated lime and abrasive cleansing paste and bottles of red fluid. A vertical format negative.
