The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 47¼ and 48½ stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking forward and to starboard showing two gyro compass master units at deck level with a circuits control cabinet and a transformer power isolation unit above them on 'A' control panel. The compass retransmission unit is against the starboard bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
