On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) in No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard during her 1971-1974 modernisation. The photographer is in the torpedo anti submarine store between 24 and 27 stations on 4 deck looking to starboard and up showing an empty cable reel against the aft bulkhead and empty storage shelves against the ship's starboard side. Various lagged pipes and valves are under the deckhead and one valve wheel has 'C.F.W. supply to sonar cooling' stamped on it.
