The photographer is in the main communication office between 41 and 45 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 44½ station showing the senior radio operator's bay which has a multi-switch control and speaker unit on the desk. Four telephones, a microphone, a master control unit, a junction box, and a lamp and relay box with a submarine state board on it are above the desk.
