On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) berthed on the south side of No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard. The photographer is in the C.P.O's mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck looking aft from the port side of the centreline at 78½ station showing the closed airtight door to the 4.5 inch gun support space. A greatcoat locker is on the left and an emergency change over switch and connection box is above the door. A vertical format negative.
