On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) berthed on the south side of No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard. The photographer is in the lobby between 75 and 77 stations on 3 deck looking to starboard from the port side at 76 station showing the door to the aft 4.5 inch magazine on the left. Two isolator boxes are next to the door. The magazine sprinkler supply pipes and control valves are under the deckhead and towels are hanging on lines strung under the pipes. An emergency connection box and a cable hanger are against the aft bulkhead.
